The ESSMANN HE-Point<\/strong> is a non-calibratable rail scale<\/strong> for continuous monitoring of wagon loads during operation<\/strong> – ideal for operators who want to manage safety, maintenance costs and logistics processes<\/strong> efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incorrectly loaded or overloaded freight wagons<\/strong> not only endanger rail traffic, but also lead to increased wear on track infrastructure and vehicles<\/strong>. The HE-Point offers an effective solution here: it measures the weight directly on the track – contact-free, automated and in motion<\/strong>(Weigh-in-Motion<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation is foundation-free<\/strong>, without separating the rail track: the intelligent sensor systems<\/strong> are integrated into the rails. The measurement of wheel, axle, bogie and total weights<\/strong> is fully automatic – as is the detection of locomotives, wagon types and train formations<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All relevant data is recorded, evaluated and displayed via the weighing terminal and our EWP evaluation software<\/strong> – either on site in a protective housing on the track or centrally in the operations control center (e.g. in the signal box).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
