Barrel scales for weighing cabbage barrels and cabbage barrels<\/h2>\n\n

ESSMANN | Waagen & Automation has modernized<\/strong> a 21-year-old calibratable <\/strong>stainless steel drum scale <\/strong>for an agricultural company in northern Germany, on which fresh, cut white cabbage is filled and weighed in a 120-litre drum.<\/p>\n\n

Process sequence of the drum weigher<\/h3>\n\n

Once the barrel has been partially filled with brine and cabbage, the product is tamped manually, as the volume of the product would otherwise not fit completely into the barrel.<\/p>\n\n

A roller conveyor, each made of stainless material, is installed on, next to and behind the drum weigher. Tamping takes place on the roller conveyor next to the floor scale<\/a>. To determine the weight, the drum is pushed onto the drum scale over the roller conveyor<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weighing bridge is<\/strong> made of stainless steel<\/strong> and has a dual-range design<\/strong>. This makes it ideal for weighing, counting and checking. The weighing range of the scale is 0.4 – 150 kg, the increment<\/a> up to 60 kg = 20 g and from 60 kg = 50 g. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roller conveyor consists of an aluminum frame with plastic rollers. The bearing cheeks of the track sections are made of U-profile. The rollers are mounted on ball bearings and run on strong round axles. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Die Bef\u00fcllung erfolgt \u00fcber ein Schr\u00e4g-F\u00f6rderband, welches von Hand abgeschaltet werden kann. Da es vorkommen kann, dass der Bediener w\u00e4hrend der Endf\u00fcllung den Arbeitsplatz verlassen muss, kann ein Abschaltpunkt gesetzt werden. Die Signalausgabe erfolgt \u00fcber eine Relaisbox am W\u00e4geterminal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
