The system was specially designed for use in the brewing and beverage industry, where reproducible dosing accuracy and reliable processes play a key role. <\/p>\n\n<p>At the heart of the system is a conical stainless steel weighing hopper mounted on three load cells. Vibration-absorbing rubber bearings are used to minimize the effects of vibrations. The product is fed in via three dosing augers, while a separate auger takes over the controlled emptying of the weighing hopper. All augers are equipped with electronic speed control to ensure even and precise dosing.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The dosing hopper scale has a bidirectional interface to the higher-level process control system based on a Siemens PLC. This enables seamless integration into existing production processes. A data output is also available, which can be used to record and document dosing protocols.
