Modern weighing terminals with networked functions

A weighing electronics or weighing indicator is a robust and powerful device that has been specially developed for legal-for-trade weighing terminals and filling controllers for industrial scales. It can be used universally and can do more than just determine the weight. It logs the values in a verifiable manner and links them to master data. In addition, it can be connected to weighing software and is suitable for a wide variety of scale types, ranging from laboratory balances to dynamic rail scales.

Weighing terminal EWS-1

The EWS-1 industrial weighing terminal was developed specifically for road vehicle scales and offers all the basic functions needed for operation. It can be easily connected to computer systems and supports both analog and digital load cells. Thanks to modern electronics and a 4.3-inch color TFT display, operation is particularly simple and convenient. The terminal is housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure (IP69K rating) with an integrated power supply (110–240 VAC or 12–30 VDC) and is therefore ideally suited for use in demanding industrial environments.

The EWS-3 industrial weighing terminal is a versatile device for weighing, recording, and dosing systems. It can be connected to either two analog load cells or one digital load cell. Thanks to modern electronics featuring a 5-inch color TFT display, operation is particularly simple and convenient. The terminal is housed in a robust stainless steel enclosure (IP69K protection rating) and is designed for ease of maintenance. It offers a wide range of optional interfaces, such as serial, Ethernet, USB, fieldbus (e.g., Profinet, Profibus DP, or Ethernet/IP), digital inputs/outputs, and analog output. This allows the scale to be integrated into networks and control systems and connected to various peripheral devices.

Weighing terminal EWS-4000E

The EWS-4000E weighing terminal is suitable for weighing and dosing tasks in all industrial sectors. It features a color TFT display and Ethernet and USB ports. Various optional expansions, such as serial interfaces, input/output modules, and an analog output, can be added. The IP65-rated stainless steel housing with an integrated power supply is robust enough for use in harsh industrial environments. The device includes standard weighing programs for weighing, piece counting, totalization, switch point monitoring, and manual filling control. In ONLINE mode, it is operated via a connected PC.

Weighing terminal EWS-6000E

The EWS-6000E is a versatile device that can be used as a weighing and/or operator terminal in self-service terminals. It allows for customization of the program flow and interface protocols for various IT connections. Operation is particularly easy thanks to the bright color TFT display and the plain-text user guidance. The rugged device is housed in a compact stainless steel enclosure (IP65 rating) and is therefore suitable for harsh industrial environments. It features Ethernet and USB ports as well as various serial interfaces for connecting printers, remote displays, or PCs. It also includes an analog output and digital input and output terminals.
