Barriers and traffic lights regulate the flow of vehicles on the scales. They open or switch to green to allow the vehicle onto the scales and close or switch to red to ensure safe operation. PLC controllers continuously monitor barriers and traffic lights and react immediately to faults or safety risks.
The zero setting loop is activated before the vehicle is driven onto the scales. It ensures that the weight of the vehicle is measured precisely, without external influences. This guarantees accurate measurements regardless of environmental factors. As soon as the vehicle is on the scales, the vehicle position monitoring system checks the exact position. If the vehicle is not positioned correctly, it will not be weighed.
After weighing, several cameras document the process. This allows irregularities to be visually traced later. We store the photos on a PC or server. Automation through PLC controls enables seamless integration with other systems such as warehouse management or databases for weight logging. This improves the efficiency of the entire logistics process and facilitates the traceability of goods.
