Various optional extensions such as serial interfaces, input/output modules and an analog output can be added. The IP65 stainless steel housing with integrated power supply is robust enough for use in harsh industrial environments. The device contains standard weighing programs for weighing, piece counting, recording, switching point monitoring and non-automatic filling control. In ONLINE mode, it is operated via a connected PC.

The EWS-8000E weighing terminal is a flexible device that has been specially developed for demanding weighing and dosing tasks in various industrial sectors. It can be connected to up to 2 scales with analog or digital load cells. The EWS-8000E is characterized by its modular concept, proven standard programs and the possibility of individual programming. This makes it suitable for stand-alone operation as well as for integration into computer or control systems. The terminal has an internal memory that can store up to 450,000 weighings and is legal for trade.
The EWS-8000E offers excellent connectivity via Ethernet and USB ports as well as Profibus DP, serial and digital interfaces. This allows it to be easily connected to ERP systems, PLCs, printers, remote displays and other peripheral devices. It is also possible to store data on a USB stick. The device is easy to operate and the training period is short thanks to the bright color TFT display.
