Mobile axle load and wheel load scales for changing locations: ESSMANN HE-AW
The static and dynamic axle load scales and wheel load scales in the HE-AW series are designed to be practical, flat and maintenance-free. The electro-mechanical scales are ideal for robust industrial and agricultural use. It can also be used as a container scale and can manage more than four platforms.
The mobile scales are available as individual platforms either with cable connection or wireless with battery operation or as an underfloor version for setting up axle load weighing stations. The system is designed for weighing large vehicles (vans, tractors and trailers, articulated lorries, tankers, etc.).
The weighing platforms are very handy and the aluminum design makes them robust (IP68) and lightweight. Integrated wheels make it easy to transport and position the platforms. The scales are also available in a legal-for-trade or particularly high-resolution version for in-house applications.

The HE-AWS is a static and dynamic axle load scale designed especially for checking the axle weight of vehicles. However, the HE-AW also enables the total weight of a vehicle to be calculated while driving by weighing the individual axles one after the other statically or dynamically and adding them up to a total mass.
The practical design of the electro-mechanical scale is ideal for robust and industrial use. The scale consists of a solid steel construction with an installation foundation frame for level installation. The load platform is robust and non-slip, made of sheet metal with anti-corrosion treatment and highly resistant paint. The load is applied via 6 stainless steel load cells. There is an inspection hatch for maintenance/adjustment of the load cells. The measuring cables of the load cells are combined in a terminal box. The measured values are transmitted from this to the weighing device via a special measuring cable (20 m included in the scope of delivery). The load cell connections and the terminal box can be serviced via a central inspection hatch.
