Sign digitally – but legally secure
Signature pads such as the SignPad from Signotec are legally secure and comply with the eIDAS guidelines. Signatures created with a SignPad are considered advanced electronic signatures and are admissible as evidence in court. Signotec also offers an eIDAS-compliant advanced pad signature seal that allows the recipient to verify the authenticity of the signature creator and the integrity of the document without any additional action.
Signature pads can be integrated in a variety of ways. For example, they can be used in Citrix and RDP sessions with IGEL Linux 5.08.100 or newer. As soon as the signature pad is connected to one of the thin client’s USB ports, you can start signing.
With the e-signature, many business processes can be digitized and signatures can be obtained at any time and from anywhere. Electronic signatures also save costs for paper, printers, mailing, archiving, scanning processes and consumables such as ink or toner.
E-signatures make documents tamper-proof: the content of a document may no longer be changed after it has been signed. Unnoticed changes are immediately visible and can invalidate existing signatures.
The probative value of an electronic document signed with Signotec technologies and provided with biometric data exceeds that of a signed paper document.
