EWP remote – smartphone app as remote control
Radio remote controls are normally used to control a weighing process on a truck scale. However, it is also possible to use a smartphone as a remote control. This is particularly helpful in agriculture during harvesting, where the scales can be easily controlled from the driver’s cab of the towing vehicle.
With the ESSMANN remote weighing app, no additional device is required. You no longer have to worry about where to store the remote control or whether the batteries are sufficiently charged, as your smartphone is always to hand and charged anyway.
The app can also be activated by voice control and can be integrated into the Google Assistant.
