Archive 2015: Gravimetric filling system for slow-flowing foodstuffs

History of scale construction

In 2015, a semi-automatic gravimetric filling system was implemented for the calibratable filling of slow-flowing foodstuffs. The system is designed as a mobile overhead filling scale and enables flexible use in different production and filling areas.

Filling is gravimetric, which ensures high dosing accuracy regardless of product properties such as viscosity or temperature. Buckets and canisters with filling weights from 5 to 60 kg can be filled. The legal-for-trade design of the scales enables use in legal-for-trade applications and legally compliant weighing in the production process.

The entire system is made of stainless steel and therefore meets the requirements for hygiene, cleanability and durability in food processing. The height-adjustable filling spout allows adaptation to different container sizes and ensures ergonomic operation. An integrated quick-change device enables different filling valves to be exchanged quickly so that the system can be flexibly adapted to different products and viscosities.

Thanks to its semi-automatic design, the filling system combines precise weighing with user-friendly handling. It is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized batches where high accuracy, product changeover and flexibility are paramount.
