Our underfloor truck scales: ESSMANN HE-SFK
The ESSMANN HE-SFK underfloor truck scale has been specially developed to meet the high demands of industry, agriculture and logistics. The scale design and components comply with DIN standards, the regulations of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and the OIML recommendations, which guarantees their precision and reliability. The HE-SFK is delivered to your site with a foundation and bridge made of precast concrete elements.
The bridge size can be customized to your requirements from 8 m to 30 m in length and 3 m to 4.5 m in width. Our standard size is 18 x 3 m. With us, you get everything from a single source. Of course, we also take care of the transportation of the precast concrete parts to the installation site, the craning in with a mobile crane, the assembly and the calibration of the scales.
The HE-SFK underfloor truck scale can optionally be supplied with a reinforced base plate so that no on-site concrete work, such as a clean layer or strip foundations, is required for installation.
The concrete bridge of the HE-SFK underfloor truck scales can be driven over lengthwise and crosswise, has high abrasion resistance and is resistant to frost and de-icing salt. The bridge and foundation have galvanized edge protection brackets with integrated bumper mounts and transport anchors.
The drainage connection and cable feed-through are led out of the foundation. The underfloor vehicle scale, which can be used as a truck scale or tractor scale, for example, can be accessed via access openings for servicing and cleaning purposes and is characterized by its high robustness and durability, even in adverse environments.
The HE-SFK underfloor weighbridge can be optionally extended with our peripheral components, such as barriers, traffic lights, self-service terminals, remote displays, etc., as required.
If the underfloor truck scales are to be used for filling substances that are harmful to water, we will manufacture them for you in accordance with the DAfStb guidelines (WHG version). Use in various ATEX zones 1/21 or 2/22 is of course also possible.

Control column HE-MXXL
With a height of 2.8m, the control column for our driver self-service terminal offers a large and customizable installation area of 310mm x 2000mm. It is suitable for all types of vehicles, from cars to trucks. Thanks to its large installation depth, the control column provides a universal platform for customer-specific installations such as weighing terminals, terminal PCs, printers, card and/or barcode readers, hands-free telephones, video surveillance and more. The control column consists of an aluminum housing and a stainless steel base designed for durability. The front features a retractable front panel and a plug-in door that is secured by a lock. The control column is available in different colors.
As a DELL partner, we offer you PCs, monitors and printers and install our proven EWP weighing software.
Network cameras for photo documentation during weighing and for license plate recognition.
Thanks to ANPR technology, license plates can be recorded automatically. This allows us to reliably identify vehicles that are already registered or visitor vehicles in the yard. The recorded data is automatically compared with our EWP weighing software and the weighing screen is immediately filled in with the corresponding master data of the license plate.

Handsfree telephone
The industry standard consists of three modules with up to four call buttons for connection to a telephone system. The call button can be assigned a fixed call number that is dialed when the button is pressed. A door opener connected to a control contact of the hands-free telephone can be confirmed by entering a code number from the inside (on the called party’s telephone). The telephone has two such control contacts and can be used for any purpose. It is installed ready for connection in our self-service terminal or in an optimally available pedestal.
Built-in barcode scanner
HE-GFS
Our barcode reader for installation in our self-service terminals can read common 1D (barcodes) and 2D (QR) codes. The data is converted into an interface format and transmitted to the higher-level input terminal or computer system via the interface. In order to guarantee reliable scanning performance, the module is housed in a housing sealed with high-grade resin, making it compliant with industrial standards. The reader features patented technology that visually indicates successful code capture to the user, minimizing errors by the driver during self-service.

Manufacturer calibration of the HE-SFK underfloor truck scales
After craning in and installing the underfloor truck scale, we adjust it with weights at its place of use and bring it into a legal-for-trade condition. Our team then calibrates it for the first time using calibration weights and it can then be used immediately in legal-for-trade applications. This process is called manufacturer calibration or conformity assessment procedure called.
